1957年9月12日生于法兰克福的德国作曲家Hans Zimmer,是现今全世界最当红的电影配乐大师,他早年在英国的The Buggles乐队中担任键盘手,1986年单飞,并且很快在好莱坞站稳了脚跟,通过<雨人>,<绿卡>等一系列配乐作品的创作,Hans Zimmer逐渐确立了自己以现代合成器为核心的创作风格.进入20世纪90年代,Hans Zimmer凭借1994年的动画片<狮子王>,一跃成为了好莱坞乐坛的当红人物,从此他的大作一部接着一部:<九月>,<赤色风暴>,<牧师的妻子>,<勇闯夺命岛>,<断箭>,<爱在心里口难开>,<埃及王子>,<细细的红线>,<角斗士>,<碟中谍2>,<沉默的羔羊2>,<珍珠港>......特别是世纪之交的这一段时期,Hans Zimmer的作品找到了电声乐器和管弦乐团的完美结合点.无论是气势雄壮还是至情至性,他全都驾驭的游刃有余,而且他的配乐作品尤其适合当作音乐作品单独欣赏.
