从60年代开始，Bee Gees以旋风之姿风靡了英伦。1967年推出的首张大碟《The Bee Gees First》不但让他们成为榜上常客，其运用文字描绘影像的歌词与让人无法抗拒的旋律，使得歌曲《New York Mining Disaster 1941》、《I Started A Joke》、《Massachusetts》、《Holiday》和《Words》如今依旧是代表那个年代的伟大歌曲。如今专辑在全球累积销售量已突破1亿张大关的Bee Gees，不仅是唯一在60到90年代都能夺得排行榜冠军的歌手，更是史上最成功的三重唱。《周末的狂热》依旧保有全球最畅销电影原声带的纪录，同时也开创日后以歌曲为导向的电影原声带模式。拥抱过7次葛莱美奖的Bee Gees，也光荣的成为创作名人堂与摇滚名人堂一员，并获全英音乐奖颁授“杰出贡献奖”，表扬他们对音乐的众多贡献。另外，改编翻唱Bee Gees的歌曲高达500多首，其中不少是像芭芭拉史翠珊、超级男孩、天命真女、席琳迪翁、猫王、珍妮丝贾普林、黛安娜罗丝等天王天后级的歌手。
