简介
Brian Tyler自小便受到其祖父布景师Walter H. Tyler（曾在1951年因Cecil B. DeMille的 "Samson and Delilah"获得一项奥斯卡奖）的艺术熏陶。Tyler在很小的时候便开始练习谱曲，而在青少年时代便在美国和俄国各地演奏他自己的现场曲目。在1997年决定进入电影配乐界之前，他曾在很多交响乐团、合唱团、唱诗班和乐队中演奏钢琴、鼓、古典打击乐、吉他和贝司。具有哈佛硕士学位以及加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）学士学位的奇才Brian Tyler，自1997年出道以来，已经创作出了30余部佳作，其中很多作品为其电影获得不错的票房起到了很重要的作用。他的佳作主要有："Six-String Samurai" (1998), "The 4th Floor" (1999), "Frailty" (2001),艾美奖提名作品 "Last Call" (2002), "The Hunted" (2003), "Darkness Falls" (2003), 电视系列短剧 "Children of Dune" (2003), Paparazzi(2004).而他代替状态不佳的Jerry Goldsmith为Richard Donner的 "Timeline"谱写配乐这一事件，也再次说明了人们对其无限潜力的看好。除此之外，Tyler也是索尼音乐公司的一位成功的签约歌曲作者，他的作品含汲现代摇滚，流行，电子以及说唱乐。而他在2001年谱写的电影插曲"The Fast and the Furious"在那年夏天也大获追捧。
